El Pueblo Unido Jamas Sera Vencido!!!
After 8 months of cycling when I started at the birthlands of El Comandante Che Guevara today I enjoyed the 34th anniversary of the end of Tyrany and despotic fascist Somosist Dictatorship, not even mention his name to inmortalize this monster. Today Nicaragua is free and in big celebration, and riding my bike 130 kms from Jinotepe to the outskirts of Managua (where the big Revolutionary FSLN gathering rocked the party) and finally reached the beautiful colonnial city of Leon. 128 more kms and I will say Gracias y hasta la vista Hermanas y Hermanos Nicas!!!
My farewell to these revolutionary, volcanic and tropical shaking lands seeded with sweet and lovely kids and grown ups, rice, coffee, mangos, nancite, round watermellon and a lot of colourful and exotic fruits I hardly have seen before!!!
Honduras will be my next ride, a fast one as I intend to cross this land in a single day then I will meet you again through the digital realm in El Salvador.
Until then sisters and brothers, wingless angels perhaps still immersed in the dormant memories that keep you from aknowledging that, the day might just come when some of you realize it… Wao! That’ll be simply heavenly fun.
In the meantimr I share with you some views of this sui generis day kept in my heart memories. Enjoy! Be happy, be love!!!
Marcos Mesa a Nica Hero from the Sandinist Revolution War against the Tyrany Nicaragua went through. Almost killed by a bullet tha entered hus chest and missed his heart for just one inch he survived and remained handicap. Then he was awarded with 2 Purple (pure gold) medals as a War Hero and then sent to Germany to look for medical support to all the victims of that bloody war that ended with the FSLN victory 34 years ago. He gave me a hearted great gift: hus Sandinist soldier scarf. Infinita Gratitud mi hermano Marcos, un Nica ejemplar!!
A sweet Nica family from whom I bought delicious fruits. Infinita gratitud hermanitas y hermanitos por ese dulce e imborrable momento compartido eda dulce mañana!
